Loading-phasing Discriminator

An item which electronically loads and resonates an antenna and transmission line system in accordance with changes in the operating frequency of associated equipment. Resonance and loading is effected by the application of control voltages to an antenna coupler. Control voltages are derived by the electrical discrimination of the angular phase shift resulting from standing wave ratios when the radiation system is in an off-resonance condition. Excludes discriminator, electrical frequency and transformer, discriminator.
