An enclosure which includes, mounts, and protects one or more circuit breakers. It is designed for and may include a cover and such accessories as mounting hardware, brackets, and conduit fittings. May include terminal boards and/or bus conductors used as a convenience for terminating the circuit breakers. May include handle tie bars. It is usually used as a load center for the protection of certain electrical devices such as water heaters, motors, etc., or as a service center for homes or offices.
