Two or more identical knife type switches, with arcing horns, having a voltage rating of 7.5 kv or more and a current rating of not less than 400 amperes. Designed to be mechanically interlocked and gang-operated from a remote position by a lever and a rod mechanism. Each switch is mounted on a separate base to allow for variable spacing between conductors. Each switch, when installed, forms one pole of a high voltage transmission line switch.
