An item fabricated in the form of an elbow and having both ends threaded female, or with unthreaded connecting facilities on both ends, or connecting facilities on both ends, one of which is a male thread without boss or shoulder. If a locknut or bondnut is included, it shall not be considered as a thread boss or shoulder. It is primarily intended to connect conduit to conduit.
