Run-in Dynamometer
A mechanical device used for running-in new and rebuilt internal combustion engines under load prior to their applicable installation by simulating actual load conditions and applying them to the engines. It employs a closed hydraulic turbine torque absorption system, and includes a tachometer, intake manifold vacuum gage, temperature gage, and indicator plate for valve operation.
